Winter Park Volleyball Club Website Redesign

I led the full redesign and migration of the Winter Park Volleyball Club (WPVC) website, transitioning the site from a limited SportsEngine framework to a fully customized and modern Wix experience. The project focused on improving both user experience and brand presence while supporting the club’s growing infrastructure.

Key Contributions:

Full-Site Migration: Successfully transferred all content and functionality from SportsEngine to Wix without service interruption.

UX/UI Overhaul: Designed a visually engaging, mobile-responsive layout with improved navigation and content hierarchy to make information more accessible to parents, players, and coaches.

Scalable Structure: Built 40+ team pages using dynamic repeaters and templated layouts to ensure easy content updates and consistency across the site.

Recruitment & Brand Positioning: Created a dedicated recruiting section featuring college commits to promote WPVC’s athlete development program.

Custom Coaches Portal: Developed a password-protected "Coaches Only" section with login-based access to resources, videos, and practice plans.

Events & Registration: Integrated centralized sign-ups for camps, tryouts, and tournaments, streamlining the registration process.

SEO & Domain Management: Optimized homepage and key pages with SEO-friendly metadata and transitioned domain management from GoDaddy to Wix DNS.

Email Deliverability Fix: Resolved domain SPF record conflicts to ensure reliable email performance after nameserver changes.

This project not only improved WPVC’s digital presence but also positioned the club for long-term growth and streamlined operations across its many programs.
